the best of the 80's

I was teaching a conversation group class last week and I chose to talk about the best and worst of the 80's. It was a fun class, indeed!

One of my favorite bands from the 80's is A-ha, definitely.

I admire them in every sense of the word "admiration": their voices, first of all, the voice division, which is impeccable, the music itself, the lyrics... And those beautiful eyes too, of course!

So, I took the lyrics from Take on me and put some blanks so that the students could fill them out. Of course, their accent is quite different, so, it's kind of hard to say what they are singing sometimes! Anyway, here is the video and the lyrics. It's a good and fun exercise!
